Surviving Uni was set up to support uni students who are struggling in their studies and can't seem to find the kind of personalised support that best fits their specific needs. These difficulties can be both emotional and academic; indeed, there are clear indications that academic performance is directly related to, and affected by the student's emotional status and wellbeing (Yeager and Walton, 2011). My doctoral paper investigated these issues in detail; research indicates that with the right support, every student can turn things round, become more confident in their skills, and achieve the marks and results they desire.
